That didn't come out right... I take 100mg twice daily, for a total

dosage of 200mg.

Janie Janie, a question for you... I know you take 200 mg Topamax for your migraines. My new doc just increased me to help regulate me, as we discovered this is the common dosage for migraines. Are you saying you take a total of 400

mg? Is that all for migraines, or for something else? That’s

a LOT of topamax!

I only take a 100mg and it’s been a

godsend for me! (migraines)

No, only 200mg... if you will notice, I responded to my own post. I

noticed my mistake. I take 100mg at night, and 100mg in the

morning. The average migraine dosage is actually 200mg, although you

can find relief with as little as 50 mg. I started 100 mg in Oct

2002, and it was a wonderful relief for about 8 months, then they

started creeping back in. Of course I still contribute it to not

being optimized on my thyroid meds, and once I get there, I am going

to wean myself off the Topamax.

I just worked up to the 200mg mark last saturday (7-24), and this is

the first day I have been headache free since 7-10-04. I was on 150

mg for a week, then 200 mg since saturday... finally, relief. =)
