Guest guest
You can cut your Armour into quarters. Only two weeks on this dose of 3 grains, and then upping another half grain is too much too soon. Remember, the T4 from THIS dose increase won't come into being for another 4 wks or so, not completely til then. You're going to add another 30 mgs to that, when this dose hasn't " struck home " yet. You still need test results at the end of another 4 wks, to at least partially use as a guide, before going up again. results of increase of Armour > > Dear Group, > > I just wanted to post my progress on the increase of > Armour thyroid. Guest guest
My only comment is that from my own experience that I needed to wait 4 weeks before I went from 3-1/2 grains to 4 and then 4-1/2. I really crashed myself (adrenals) and it took almost two months to recover. I had to go back down to 3-1/2. Once you get to the higher doses, you need to slow down on time between increases or you can overshoot and go to much too high. I could only tolerate 1/4 grain raises and so broke up the 3 grain pills into 4. Tish
