doing things in the right sequence. It has to start from step 1. If I start him

at step 3, he would go back to start from step 1. Is this type of OCD?

Yes

Not necessarily. Strep can cause OCD, but at my house, OCD was caused by yeast,

viruses, and deficiency of B12 and folic acid.

I used OLE to eliminate strep and other bacteria.

I agree than #1 is a very good thing too. As a child, when people acted like

assertiveness was a bad thing... well... that just leads to confusion and

repression. It leads the child to swinging between states of taking too much or

not taking enough. Feelings of being taken advantage of, etc. I say encourage

that attitude, but keep a watch to make sure it stays " fair " .

... as for OCD .. not sure there either. But personally I found positive aspects

of some obsessive traits so chose to keep some aspects of that since it can

prove helpful in the right situation. I just dealt with it by increasing the

number of different obsessions to balance it out, or switch between in a

rotation. Obsessive traits can be turned into Perseverance if elements that make

it negative are taken as separate.

I think #1 is a good thing to see. We went through the exact same phase

at about age 3-4 yrs. The awareness he showed and the desire to exert some

control over others in his environment was very 'normal' of him! The first time

he took a toy back from another child I silently cheered (didn't know the other

parent!).

I'll leave #2 to others with more experience.

away his toys or whatever when she sees him playing with it. previously he would

just let it go without much fight (very short attention span I guess?)and moved

on.

He does not hit his sister coz he is not the aggressive type.

a 'fixed' and what I called the 'robotic' way.

guess i need to get this clostridia and strep controlled again. Currently i am

giving him 3 caps of culturelle at night and 8-10 drops of ooo through out the

day. i have goldenseal which I normally give him for about 7-10 days only as per

the recommenation on the bottle.
