newbie, t3 high, node 4mm, and hypo

Hi I'm new to this and seeing Dr. Lee in San ANtonio. She's

an endrocr. and new to the area. Anyone have good or bad info. on

her? I found out 2 weeks ago that I have a 4mm dence nodual in the

left lobe and my t3 was high. All of my symtoms are for hypo as

I've gained a lot of weight eating not much, didn't loose any on the

protine diet, am tired, and my troat feels like someone is choking

me all the time. Lots of other stuff too, high blood gloucose(on

the addkins diet while fasting), always cold that sort of thing. I

also had swelling above my collar bone starting on memorial day and

it goes up and down. THeyve ruled out lymphoma(actually found the

nodual while having a ct for that-doc. didn't believe me with other

symptoms before). ANy thoughts? I did go to a new family doc.

today and he did believe me and said if it isn't the thyroid, then

we have to search for somthing else since somthings not right. It

felt so good to hear that!!! I've never had a weight problem before

and have gained 20 lbs in the last 4 months, then did protien diet

for the last 6 weeks, lost 1 lb on 900cal., 25 carb. diet, so

somthings not right. Any info. would be good as I see this new

endro. doc. on thur. and my doc. didn't know her as she's new to the

area. THanks
