Guest guest Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 Hi , I do go to Dr. Grebbenikov in Dallas. I have extremely mixed feelings about him. The pros, he does prescribe Armour, he does listen to you to some extent and is not a TSH worshipper. The Cons, it takes ages to see him, he did not answer some of my questions, after he switched me over to Armour he was not really willing to listen, also he moved me from 150mcg of Synthetic T4 directly to 2 grains of Armour immediately (which I found out later is a very bad thing to do as I still had all that T4 in my system!) I went into major hyper symptoms and was almost hospitalized. So now, I have started adjusting the dose myself. I also am not taking too well to Armour and I am wondering if its because of that first wrong dosage. So I am basically going to him just for the Armour prescription. Of course this is just my experience, I may just happen to be a difficult case. Hope you have better luck with him. Thanks Sapna doctors in dallas Help! I have used the saliva test in ZRT labs to test my adrenals etc. Still waiting for the results on that. Will know more then as to why I cannot tolerate Armour well. Its a real pity, I feel more clear headed on Armour but my sleep is very disturbed (gets worse when I exercise, which sounds like adrenals) and I feel like a yo-yo as far as my emotions are concerned. Hope to find out soon. I think the Armour dosage file is a great idea. I dont think there are a lot of docs out there who know how to prescribe Armour. So we need to arm ourselves with the knowledge before we go to the doc. I wish I did that before I took that 120mg! Sapna doctors in dallas Help!
