We have been stuck at 40* for the last 3 casts and in the brace break over the summer. She is down to 29*!!! We are so excited! She still has a little rotation. Her doctor even mentioned before the cast how good her back looked. In SLC they only do in-cast xrays, but out of cast it is hard to see her curve. After the cast our nurse told us that the doctor wanted to talk to us at the nurses station. When I walked up the doctor was on the phone and I saw an xray, but it looked so good I thought, "well that isn't Keira, so I had better leave out of respect for another patient's privacy". Well, it turned out to be hers!! When you start at 80*, 29 looks very good!!!The plan is another cast and then a cast break for the summer and then another cast. I am just happy we finally saw the curve move, after 3 casts, I was starting to think we should just stay with the brace.Liz, Mom to Keira - 3.5 yrs in 6th cast in SLC
