Hi Pete,I have ordered a QSD Focus. I have a serial-USB adapetr for common baud rates (I guess up to 19200 bps).I remember that I have seen on an old email on the forum that it might not be sufficient but a high speed adapter is required.Could you confirm? Which speed should the adapter support?Tnx, ilario

Ilario,

I've attached the Quick Start Guide, which usually puts in with the box (I prefer to send it in advance.) If you don't get the attachment, because you don't get individual emails from the group, back-channel me at pvdtlc@..., and I'll send it again. It includes some websites where you can find these adaptors, though you should also be able to find them in most electronic/computer stores as well. The Focus sends at 57600 baud, so it will overwhelm the adaptor you have. You want one with the " Prolific chipset " , which will usuallly be rated at 1 Mbps and often have a pretty decent sized cache as well.
