This is one of my virgin workouts (of many) and it sounds fun!  Is this the original (vhs) or the newer WHFN one?

Push Pull kicked my butt this morning! I loved it! I always have workout amnesia so I can't describe the sequencing but it is aerobic weight training with an emphasis on weights. Spreen and Heidi Tanner lead it. does the cardio sections, which are all kickboxing-inspired. The cardio was mostly really low intensity and some of it seemed to need more room than I had to be able to make it more intense (a lot of lateral movements and I don't have much room to do those) and all low impact. The weight work though was much tougher especially because they're all compound exercises and most are a little different than what I'm used to so I had to all really pay attention and think. The workout itself was fast moving (quick transitions) but the weight work was often slow and well-paced. I started with 10s but had to drop to 8s for some things though I think I could have pushed myself to use the 10s more. I used 3s for the light work because I was surprised at how challenging the heavy was and for a lot of it that was good. The core section is very good and enjoyable too (which is a lot for me to say about core work). It is pilates-inspired and I was very happy with how well I did with those moves. I felt very strong doing this workout, especially the core section and that was a nice feeling. I like both Heidi Tanner & Spreen but I do get amused/annoyed with and her " Thank you very much Heidi " as she comes on and " And here's Heidi with... " as she leaves. I felt the same way about Steamin' Cardio (which I didn't like as much as this or find as challenging). It is unnecessary and seems forced. Heidi doesn't say anything during her transitions and I like that better. It isn't a big deal though, just something to pick at. The music in this is very good, not great but very good. Overall, this was fun, can be as challenging as you like by picking the right weights and worked well for me today.

Mine is WHFN on DVD with Steamin' Cardio. There are chapters and you can pick by exercise and mix things up by taking something from Push Pull and then something from Steamin' Cardio but you can't program it like a 10 Min Sol'n workout so I haven't tried doing that (I don't like the flow to be interrupted by having to stop and make another menu pick then get going again).
