Guest guest
Ann, Can you tell me what symptoms your son has? I am thinking if he's getting help from this SD psych, I just may make the drive out to San Diego. Would you believe I'd rather drive there than through Los Angeles! And I grew up in LA. I just hate the one way streets. You can be going one way and see the freeway, but can't get on the onramp because you need to come from the other way. Ack..does that make sense? See, LA gets me confused! lol I rented my son a video game yesterday and felt so bad that he heard the workers saying " Look at the weird kid. " sob But today he's been playing this game nonstop and while he's playing, he's laughing and not picking anything up. Such a great feeling. I can actually relax a little...okay, just a little. You can email me offlist (that goes for everyone). DebbiAP@... Thanks for the hugs (I'm taking as many as I can get!) Debbi
Guest guest
I tried to help a young lady find a doctor. I explained further in a private email...So many children come to boards and post that they are afraid to tell their parents, think the parents won't understand, will think they are crazy. I am just so grateful my own son came to me. Even with all the resources within Los Angeles, it is difficult to get the right help. There are so many factors, including age of child, issues, making the right connection with the doctor, willingness for the child to change and many more. So, I didn't select this doctor for ourselves, but did lots of research for someone in her area and this was the one I came up with that works with children and meds. Worth a phone call, as us Mothers and Fathers, we have to trust our instincts. Good luck to you. Judith > > Thanks for the Dr's info. I'll let you know what I find out. Still curious > about why you selected this Dr?? > > Debbi > > >
