Guest guest
Tonight for dinner, I made some corn chowder with corn I had in the freezer from last fall. (I'm still cleaning out my freezer to make room for new food!) I served this corn chowder with a choice of fresh herbs- dill, cilantro or savory. I can never choose, so I had all 3! With the chowder, I served grilled whole trout and sauteed morel mushrooms (a splurge) that I picked up at the co-op. Dessert was strawberry rhubarb pie, with both fruits from my garden. I love living off the land! Kathy

Guest guest
Tonight i had Lucky Pig heart, sliced thin seasoned with real salt, white and cayenne pepper and mixed with a little mayo and 2 sunny side up eggs. It was an experiment, and I thought it was fantastic. The heart was raw but I imagine it would be just as tasty if you were to cook it, just not as healthy! Oh and earlier today I had a shake of 2 eggs, some whole milk, a little coffee and a teaspoon or so of raw honey, it was phenomenal!

Guest guest
I'm not opposed to it, but never thought of eating raw pig heart, ! It must be an excellent source of CoQ10. This sounds like a good combination. The shake does sound wonderful! You should go on Gourmet Bizarre Foods! (Not that I think this is all that bizarre...but common culture likely would.)
