Guest guest
Could I make a suggestion? This "tech support" stuff really doesn't have anything to do with this topic, so how about making a new one to address it in and share the instructions? That way if in future anyone has a problem like this they can find it much easier.

Guest guest
You only get that option when you reply to something, not when you post an original post. If you check out To: and click on the arrow, you will get an option between the forum and that person only. But beware and make sure before you send it that you haven't chosen the wrong option by mistake. This can happen if you scroll while it is still purple (= active). I think this is what must have happened that time when I posted something urgent as moderator that was intended for only one person and it still appeared on the whole board (in another forum). That was awfully embarrassing. And as said earlier, we recommend that members post their messages in public, unless it is something too personal and to a person you already know well or who has invited you to mail them in private or who is a moderator/administrator. Inger I don't get a drop down option when I click reply - I acess these boards through the internet, online, webpage etc. > > writes: > >I think it is a combination of possessive traits AND joking around! > However, some of it could be directed between two members, rather than > having each of us read ALL the posts. Guest guest
Nope - I still don't seem to have this option - and it's not through lack of looking. Are you sure it is not connected to email? - or certain web browsers? - I'm using Microsoft Internet Explorer. The only way I could reply to a person individually is to click on their email address - but that is not the reply button. > > Rainbow, > > > > When you click " reply " there should be a drop down option that asks > you to select whether you want to send it to, " sender " , or " all " . Guest guest
Wow! My brain just, finally connected these dots...the story of my life... I apologize for starting this. This option is a part of my Email program. I read these posts at my Email address, because I requested to participate in that service when I signed up. It just seems more convenient to me. greebohere wrote: Nope - I still don't seem to have this option - and it's not through lack of looking.
