Post delivery I try and switch my bp cuff to automatic every 15 minutes

(per protocol) that way when I hear the machine going off it prompts me

to stop what I'm doing and go over and do my post partum assessments,

otherwise I get so busy doing all the other stuff that I forget

Anyone have any tips on how to make your vag or operative deliveries

smoother? I'm coming off orientation so I'm collecting time management

techs to make my life easier at work. Every little idea helps. Thanks

in adv for sharing. j.

I make a cheat sheet, sometimes out of silk tape on my bedside table..divided into sections to prompt me to remember Q2 temps, antibiotic time if needed, vag exams listed, and pain med times so I have a summary right in front of me at all times during labor..
