Guest guest
Hello All, I have very much enjoyed reading all of the posts over these past months and have learned quite a bit. Thanks so much. I have not seen discussed the topic of sharing kombucha with others who really know nothing of it and thought I would tell you of my recent " kombucha party. " Having always been one to consider alternatives when it comes to good health, I nonetheless work in a typical business environment where others consider me a bit " different. " I have told a few folks of our fermenting process here at home and they always look at me as if I have 2 heads. The Christmas party for our small department of 12 people was scheduled for yesterday so a few days prior, I posted several signs for all to see, telling them that I would be bringing in a jug of Kombucha and how thrilled all of them would be to taste it! The signs generated a great deal of conversation and numerous questions, not only from my small department but from others in the company as well. At our party, I made sure to provide copies of a sheet listing the many benefits of the drink. The day of the party the head of our facility ended up coming " uninvited " to our party to taste the Kombucha! Most everyone there said they liked it and a few even enjoyed it. Most likely there will be none who steps forward to ask for a baby, (I definitely offered) but at the very least, their minds have opened up a bit to other possiblities for healthy drinking. And it was just plain fun sharing it with people who would otherwise never have had the chance! E.
