Guest guest
OK – so what’s the scoop on Kombucha??? I understand it is considered a RAW food, and good for lots of things and contains lactobacillus Bacterium and S. Boulardii (1 billion of each to be exact) as well as being a probiotic. After reading the book Eat Fat Lose Fat the diet calls for a ready made Kombucha drink with many of the meals … so I bought my first one today … it was $3.69 for 1 bottle! I got the citrus flavor, and it tasted like carbonated vinegar! YUK! I was so disappointed as I have not had much luck with actually liking the fermented foods, and was a little discouraging as well. Anyone else tried it? Or tried a different flavor? I was under the impression it was a sweet drink … Also, what about the making it yourself? Does it taste any better? I remember someone offering it to me on the RAW Dairy along with the kefir grains, but at the time I had no idea what it was good for. Any suggestions appreciated!
