Someone talked to me about it last week and for the life of me I cannot remember who it was. My parathyroid labs were abnormal. Thyroid problems run in my family and I have been on thyroid meds for 32 years (nodular on gland). My calcium is normal but Dr. K's required labs picked this up and I have been sent to an endocrinologist for evaluation. My PCP said this should not prevent me having the DS surgery.
