First, I have a friend in another state who is wanting to start making her own KT and I would like to send her a starter. Does anyone know the best way to do this? Any ideas would be appreciated! Also, I have a question about my own " brew. " There has been lots of different info about the kind of " sweetener " to use for your brew. I use either sucanat with honey or stevia for all sweetening in my home, but when I started making KT, thought that I read that you should only use white sugar. Well, it was hard to go out and buy that stuff, but I did. Then, I started reading other posts that said that some people use other things, so I tried the sucanat with honey. I did not care for the flavor as much and it didn't get a nice fizz like my other batches had before. I really like the fizz, but don't like using the white sugar. If anyone has any ideas as to a good way to balance both, I would greatly appreciate it! I love this list and all of the awesome info that I have been able to get from it! Thanks everyone!
