I never heard of it, I just went to go look it up. Interesting. We dont use towels or sheets either though...

Is anyone using the Benson birthing rope? It is supposed to cut pushing to half the time. I have used a towel and it does work well especially with babies in OP or OT position. Also, if the patient has an epidural and the baby is off position, the mom has to be in a really good position with her legs well back and her head almost flat. I have found this position, along with an empty bladder, gives the most room for the baby to turn. Deb

Can you explain what that is and how it is used? We use towels and sheets.....is it similar?
