Heidi,

I don't eat that much during the day anyways. Our big meal is at night

(breakfast has been 8 ounces raw goat yogurt with crispy nuts and ground vanilla

beans, lunch is kimchi and some meat/fish perhaps soome avocado and the evening

meal includes several vegetable dishes including sea vegetables and protein and

a non grain starch (sweet potato, plantain or root vegetables). I was having

a snack of fruit (an apple or pear) and pigging out on coconut milk and cream.

Can you give me an idea of a typical day?

I'm not Heidi, but I can tell you what I eat on a typical WD day. I don't do

WD every day, but when I do, my undereating phase usually consists of:

about 4-6 ozs. (total) of mixed sheep's milk yogurt, hazelnut butter and

bananas or blueberries

about 3-4 oz. kimchi

1-2 Tbsp. CO

supplements

(I usually have this about mid-morning)

Then before my workout in the afternoon, I might snack on a few pieces of

jerky, and/or some crispy almonds. Yesterday, I munched on a leftover leg of

lamb - I probably ate about 3 oz. total and then had about a 3-4 oz. chunk

of raw lamb's liver. (I had excellent energy during the workout!)

For dinner, I usually have a salad or steamed greens, maybe some crispy

nuts, wine, meat, kimchi, and sometimes potatoes or rice, and/or bone broth,

and that's about it. Some days I'll have a big bowl of popcorn when I watch

a movie prior to dinner.

It's different for eveyone though, I think the main principle is to eat less

than you normally would during the undereating phase, and for some, eat more

than you normally would during the overeating phase. I have trouble with

overeating though - I just fill up quickly. So I don't worry about it.

BTW, I'm not pregnant or nursing, so don't take this as a healthy example of

WDing for someone who is!

Okay, I bought the book today and what you posted sounds similar to what I

had so far today: 8 ounces raw goat yogurt with some crispy pecans.

Later I had two celery sticks (one stalk) 2 thin carrot sticks, 2 thin

cucumber sticks and a one inch piece of wild salmon jerky. And tea/water.

Dinner is roast chicken , braised cauliflower and asparagus, baked Japanese

white sweet potato with raw butter and a lacto fermented vegetable of some

kind.

I hope I don't get hungry after that but I bought some nice apples/pears

today and that will be dessert.

So this seems pretty easy to do. And I'm not starving either even though I

haven't eaten much.

I've been eating less and less during the day, and actually less at

night too. My appetite has been decreasing a LOT. But since I have

a lot of extra fat, I'm thinking the appetite suppressant effect of

leptin is kicking in (finally!). So I DON'T recommend eating like

me! Plus I'm not nursing. But my typical day is:

Breakfast: a grapefruit.

Lunch: green salad (no cheese, maybe some sunflower seeds, maybe some MCT,

maybe smoked salmon or boiled egg), tomato, cucumber, etc.

Dinner: steak, hamburger, chicken, or fish, kimchi or other vegies,

green vegies in broth if I have some, hash browns or baked potato.

Sometimes tacos.

Later: wine and hooch.

The calorie differences tend to come in with how

much protein I eat ... sometimes it is 4 oz, sometimes

a pound.
