Guest guest
Hi, all! Question about use of topical steroids... I have a new 32 yo female patient whose CC are PCOS, obesity, and skin rashes. I've just seen her once, so no drainage, etc, yet. She's been using a antifungal and steroid creams on her rashes (in sweaty areas under breasts, groin, etc.). I asked her to start Ointment 270 alternating with the anti-fungal and not use the hydrocortisone cream if at all possible. She email this morning with a plea for something else to try because " this rash is unbearable. It's getting worse, spreading and still completely itchy. " I want her body to be able to express what it needs to and not be suppressed, but I can;t have her unable to finction, either. How bad is it for her to continue the hydrocortisone cream until we have time to support her emunctories? Or, does anyone have any other suggestions? She's tried oatmeal baths. They help short term but she can't spend all day in the tub Thank you for your insights! Leigh White, ND North Haven, CT
Guest guest
As you trying to palliate, you might consider Rosmarinus Cream instead of UNDA 270.Igor N. Guest guest
Hi Leigh Ozonated olive oil is really good for fungal type rashes, especially in the skin folds of overweight patients. It is cheap, and non-suppressive. If you google it, you should be able to find a supplier in your area. Loreen > > Hi, all!
