Q: herpes in pregnancy/ birth

Hi! How have you worked with pregnant moms who have history of vaginal herpes? I've used WWH Licorice Lysine Plus (no affiliation) topically, but that doesn't guarantee that there won't be an outbreak before/ at time of birth. Prophylactic Valtrex before birth?
