Pt is about 12 wks pregnant and just recovering from a " zoster " recurrence (previously treated with Valtex every 6 months or s x 2 yrs) on her left scapula that broke out after she took Abx for a UTI (got yeast infxn, too- yippee!). Then, she consulted me... Anyway, I have two questions... first, I thought that the only recurrence with zoster was neuralgia, not actual outbreak. Is this true?
