After several years of work, they now have a table-top version that is quiet and does not produce the irritating waves but is more powerful than the original. It is also less than half the price of the VIBE. I have one of these. A VIBE dealer once asked me to bring the small version over to his place. We put the two units 3 feet apart and turned mine on. It lit the tubes of the VIBE. Then we tuned mine off and the other one on. It did not light the tubes on mine. The VIBE dealer now sells the smaller ones. There is also a second person who copied the old BELS and sells them for a third the price of the VIBE. Ok, this explains it. It was indeed a 1/3 the price, was VERY loud and had " lightening bolts " flying off of it all around the thing which would begin to start fading after the 2nd 1 minute cycle (with 30 seconds rest in b/t). So do you think this cheaper unit may still be just as effective as the more expensive one? I did notice my lower back injury is feeling much better though after the VIBE exposure, so that is a plus.
