Recipe from another list ... sounds like one you folks would like.

-----------------------------

1 cup plain kefir, butter milk, or yogurt

1 cup mayonnaise

1 clove minced garlic

2 green onions chopped

1 teaspoon finely minced fresh ginger

salt to taste

your choice of sweetener to taste

Blend all ingredients in blender till smooth. It's good on lettuce and

tomato salad.

Yum yum - thanks. I'm still on a " variety-dressing-making " kick.

Perfect timing. :)

Just leave out the mayo. It helps if you use a less-sour

kefir (depending on your taste). I don't add mayo personally

because I don't like the stuff.

You got me going ... I made some for lunch. Used kefiili,

added salt, granulated garlic, crushed garlic, pepper, cayenne,

dried onions, green onions ... it was really good. It's neat

because I don't like to use bottled dressing so had given

up on creamy dressings, but the kefiili coated the salad

just like the bottle Ranch stuff does. I think I might get

some Penzy's " Ranch Dressing " spices to speed up

the process though.
