Guest guest
Marta, my friend, your post made me cry from happiness for you!!!!! What a wonderful, wonderful thing to NOT be recognized and to have your brother broadcast to the world how GOOD you look. Congratulations!!! Jim _____ From: Marta S. As I thought, Lori's mother and sister didn't notice much since they last saw me as a thinner person fifteen years ago. My brother kept talking and talking about it, though, and embarasssed me on the elevator, in the street, etc.
Guest guest
Great story Marta! I know what you mean about being embarrassed. A friend who hadn't seen me for months actually screamed when she saw me. I wished I could just melt through the concrete. We were in the middle of a mall. Sheesh! How cool that your brother made such a big deal out of it, though, even if he did embarrass you. Hugs! It's amazing how much different we look - you are just gorgeous - a size 4 - I'm glad you live so far otherwise I might have to slap ya (just kidding) ) Kim, funny you tell that story! I was reading Ann's post and trying to remember her that big (310 lbs) and honestly, I cannot. Every time I see my reflectino I am amazed that I look so narrow. I never thought I could get narrow. Definitely get your DL picture retaken. It is worth the $12 or whatever they charge you in TX. I did it! Marta who thinks her weight has nearly a mind of its own! Except I *can* diet it off easier now than in the past. but it comes back!
