Guest guest
I have their Ghee and however I continue to use the Wetzel's butter oil daily. My mother who has a terrible time with fats cannot use the WFN Ghee withour a headache or other symptom. She has not ever reacted to the Wetzel's oil. I'm not sure what the difference is but I'm taking that as an indication that the Wetzel oil is superior or at least for her. Lynn > Quick question...Has anyone tried their Ghee? She will cook with ghee on occasion though since it gives her less problems. We're using the butter oil as one of her primary sources of fats as everything else except olive oil seems to make her sick. The butter oil is very expensive that's why I was hoping the WFN raw ghee could supplement it. No such luck so I guess we just keep shelling out for butter oil....I order it by the case and don't look at the credit card bill Lynn
Guest guest
That's too bad, but its lovely she lets you help her and make good food for her. My problems with butter were due to dairy allergies, which is why the clarified butter is better for me. I want it mostly for (my son) though. Thank you. Do you have the contact info for Wetzel? I kept finding pretzels in the search. sincerely, Michele >From: " Lynn Razaitis " <lyn122@...> >Reply- > >Subject: Re: WFN Ghee >Date: Thu, 05 Feb 2004 17:24:19 -0000 > > >I have had problems with butter in the > > past, though not so much with ghee. > > > > best wishes, > > > >Michele, > >Yes my mother has a lot of trouble with butter, even high quality >raw. Guest guest
I also have their ghee along with the butter oil (from Radiant Life). I use the ghee for cooking. One difference that I notice is that , at the temperature in my kitchen, the WFN ghee is solid, but the butter oil is liquid. They are obviously quite different.
