Sorry, I just sent a blank message I accidently sent it before I

typed anything.

I'd like to remind parents that not all inappropriate behavior is

the result of a disability. Some aggravating antics are normal for

each developmental stage. Sometimes I hear a parent bemoan a certain

action that their child does (screaming, throwing a tantrum,

refusing to change plans) and they seem to think it is because they

have an AS or Autistic child. When in fact all children at one time

or another throws a fit. Our special needs children probably have

more extreme behavior, but we shouldn't excuse everything just

because they are disabled.
