Here is some information that I copied from the group for use later. I had

information written down that Joe stayed at Comfort Suites and liked it. Jerry

and (I think) stayed at Garden Suites and somewhere else.

The rest of this was probably written by Jo. But, I didn't put that down in

my notes. Marla

" These may give you a starting place. Since I live in Bakersfield,

therefore, don't stay in hotels here I really can't give you an idea

of price or quality. But these 3 are right off the freeway and in

good parts of town.

Thanks, I think I will go with the Extended stay america. There is one in Santa

, Ca. that we stayed in to check them out before my surgery date. I thought

it was pretty decent. The recliner was kinda funky but it sure beats that 12

dollar camping chair I bought from Wal Mart that I slept in for 3 weeks. Boy was

my fanny sore!!! I stayed in the Vagabond , north and south , when I was there

for my hernia repair back in May. It was okay, we were paying by the day so we

went to Mcs before we left our town and picked up one of those travel

coupon magazines and got the room for 31 dollars per night. That was good.

Delano also has coupon books.
