Guest guest
lie, Great story about the benefits of the sun in your getting over allergies. You said your dad was dizzy for a long time after he had sunstroke. I wonder about his D levels, and about his calcium and magnesium. Maybe those were off kilter as well as his salt. To quote: " DO NOT SUNBATHE unless you are sure you have sufficient calcium and magnesium to meet your daily needs. " Maybe what seems to be sunstroke is actually a whole metabolism imbalance. ~^^V^^~

When I first read your post on vitamin D, I thought to myself, I sure do like the sun. However, whenever I try and take a D supplement it makes me so tired that I simply don't do it. But the sun thing and your comment about the calcium and magnesium sure got me to thinking. With CFIDS they recommend not sunbathing because it can cause a relapse. IN the past, I tried it and relapsed. Now I don't know if it was related to not having sufficient amounts of calcium and magnesium as is also a result of cfids or what. But now I can sunbathe for an hour and it feels luxurious! I always wondered why the sunbathing would cause a relapse but it really does/did. And I can't figure out why it no longer does. I find myself just kind of scratching my head on this one. Gail
