Pat,

You are such a sweatheart -- thank-you so much for your support and encouragment.

I promise I would have made you all truly proud this weekend, as I was not only coming off tx, going 1 hour sleep in 48 hours w/ 3 teenage boys, standing in a dirt field all day in the sun (sunburned to boot) watching a bunch of grown men and teenagers shoot paintballs at each other and listen to unGodly language all day... (LOL) and WAS PMSing....... roflmao

See I told you I would make you all proud -- and I am still half way sane... LOL

Love , hugs and Prayers to you all

May God Continue to bless us all

Thanks for the support and encouragment -- you know I love ya Girl....

I know your right about this detour for a reason -- and my faith is strong enough I can't get through whatever GOD chooses for me to endure or whatever path i need to take...

Hope your feeling good -- and praying that the sides are as kind as possible on you...

Love you all...

May God continue to bless us all

Good Morning Deb and everyone,

Thanks for the welcome Deb, I have been enjoying this group very much. I feel right at home with (+/-) crazy people! Myself, I don't mind the word lurker but maybe we should come up with a better name?

Just for the record, this bus driver has no patience but is louder than most any individual kid... it is when they combine forces against me that I get into trouble. I have been requesting for years now a cattle prod for Christmas... I believe that would be extremely helpful for crowd control! Luckily the bus I have been assigned to this year has both a camera, a radio, and an internal/external speaker system. Boy do I have fun with that... although the kids have requested I don't sing at them outside the bus anymore... sigh.

As for my lab results... I confused what was going on and thought the last one was for genotyping. It was the RNA instead. The last page of the report talked about reference range and this is what was said was:

Mitochrhondrial Ab w/refl titer

<1:20 Negative

1:20 to 1:80 Intermediate level. May be present in autoallergic or other liver diseases

>1:80 Elevated level. Strongly suggestive of primary bilaiary cirrhosis.

Smooth muscle ab w/refl titer

<1:20 negative

1:20 to 1:40 Weakly positive. May be present in acute viral hepatitis, lupoid hepatitis, infectious mononucleosis and malignancy.

>1:40 High positive. Highly suggestive of active chronic hepatitis.

End of report. I take this as not good... grrr.

I am so far dealing with a nurse practitioner who works closely with a physician and is keeping in contact with a specialist. I am very rural here... about a 2.5 hour drive to a town of around 35,000. I wondered at first about this nurse for care, but am growing very fond of her. She does her homework and Listens to me... have only once had that kind of a relationship with a medical doctor. Anyway, she said when they get the next blood tests back (done last Friday) they would set up an appointment with the specialist. I hate the waiting... am assuming I will feel much better once I know exactly what I am dealing with! Now if I could just get the hubby to act like a human being I would feel much better. He is at least trying to be sweet now, but not exactly wanting to touch me. That hurts.

Anyway, I have rattled on long enough and had better get back to my lesson (which beats the heck outa cleaning house)... I am taking an online class on Adobe PhotoShop and have fallen way behind. I hope you all have a great day.

So good to hear from you. We all miss you. :)

You did explain about your daughter and I hope and pray for all the best for her and you Toots. She got a great opportunity to travel maybe just what she needed and your business is really taking off yeaaaaaa.

No dire problems with the gang here we're just taking it one day at a time.

Pat's lungs still haven't cleared but she was dx'ed with COPD a few years ago before being on trmt meds. She's hoping it will get better cause she only has a few more weeks to go with the meds and she has just recently tried to stop smoking. She cut down to only a few a day. That is something many of us need to do including me.

De is still a trooper on trmt working full time and being a single mom. That was a sure bet for me that she could do it.

is post transplant just started trmt meds last week and so far no sides at all.

Bob is still MIA with a bad abby and we haven't heard from him in a while.

Liz was just elected as a Board Member with the California Hepatitis C Task Force. She's now Executive Board Secretary and still Communications Director. We all are very proud of her.

Me, I'm fine same shit just a different day. :) I still am very thankful for every day that I open my eyes still enjoy the simple pleasure in life and family friends and loved ones I hold very dear in my heart.

I know I'm forgetting to mention people and I'm sorry. My poor old brain and memory ain't what it use to be.

We have a bunch of new members even someone who raises lamas and beautiful birds. We are a wide variety of crazy but loving people.

Take a look in the photo section. Liz and I added a bunch of photos to our albums and I have singles of our dove family Lucy, Ricky and the kids Pebbles and Bam Bam. Lucy and the kids left the nest in my fern on the balcony but we now have Bob and Carol and we are awaiting the arrival of Ted and Alice. :)

I know you are very busy but try and find the time to just pop in and say Hi. :)

Love and Hugs.

Take Care and God Bless.

Deb
