Guest guest
http://www.mercola.com/forms/organic_pastures.htm#order and http://www.peacefulpastures.com/ both sell frozen raw cow colostrum, shipped nationwide (its pretty pricey) Peaceful Pastures has goat colostrum part of the year as well. I haven't used any specifically for overcoming illness, but will add a small amount into milk, or when making kefir to get the potential added benefit (haven't yet brought myself to be able to drink it straight). Health food stores often sell powdered colostrum too, not sure how badly the dehydrating process affects it, I've just seen it in supplement sections. -- Cat tinawind@... Guest guest
All of the producers on realmilk.com have colostrum when their cows or goats first calve/kid. I am vaccinating one of my does for staph this fall before kidding in hopes of helping a customer of mine who has trouble with staph, it is likely his poor immunity, but we are hoping this will help. Simply contact your raw milk source and ask for them to put you some away fresh frozen and from the first 12 hours only. I would most certainly want colostrum from tested nes negative cows.
