Guest guest
Kristy, I am not shocked. I am quite confident that I eat 2500 to 3000 calories a day - somedays more - like yesterday. As long as the scales aren't creeping up I am gonna keep on keepin on. Yesterdays menu: 1 cheese enchilada 1 beef enchilada 1 chicken enchilada 1 beef taco 1 beef tamale 1 cheese chili relleno basket of chips and lotsa salsa refried beans & potatos (1/2 c. each) very small portion of spaghetti & marinara sauce green beans 2 hostess cupcakes 2 funsize snicker bars 3 jack in the box tacos lots of coffee lots of water all my vitamins and minerals I think we all ate different preop and we will all eat different post op. EAch of us will have to adjust and eat for what works best for our bodies. I weigh every 3-4 days - my high is 144 and low 141. If I start gaining you had better believe I will start cutting back - FAST!!! hugs, cindy lee > Totals: > > 108g Protein > 51g fat > 373g carbs > 2427 Calories > > N.B I also had 5 large glasses of water and all my vitamins (yes, Jo, I did). > > Still in shock... > Kristy

I did your numbers for fun and as you can see with 123 grams protein your doing fine. It looks like your calorie intake is about where I am....the difference, my weight is starting to creep up and I do want to lose a few. I'm sure I just need to control the sugar, especially the sugar I drink. Guest guest
Hey JO, Thanks for taking the time to calculate that for me. I have never logged onto fitday. I fear that with my tendency toward obsessive behavior I could become obsessive with calorie counting - which I have been in the past. Yesterday was a big eating day. We went out to my favorite Mexican place that we RARELY get to go to so I ordered big with the intention of eating nothing but the leftovers for the rest of the day. Well, another case of good intentions gone awry! thanks again! hugs, cindy lee > > If I > > start gaining you had better believe I will start cutting back - > > FAST!!! > > > > hugs, cindy lee > ============================== > No reason to cut back if your not gaining and your getting in your > protein... Guest guest
Lee!!!! HEY SKINNY! How are you? I think that since half your calories are coming from Fat that is why the calories aren't important. If it was really high in sugar... and you didn't have lots of fat pushing things through the " plumbing " ... you'd absorb more of it. It will be interesting to see what happens in a few years. I am still bouncing in my ten pound range. I eat WHATEVER I want. I am very sure I am eating around 3K calories per day or more. I love seeing what people eat. Makes me feel normal Hugs, --Kym > > If I > > start gaining you had better believe I will start cutting back - > > FAST!!! > > > > hugs, cindy lee > ============================== > No reason to cut back if your not gaining and your getting in your > protein...
