Anne,

They have some wonderful medications to fully get rid of the heartburn but

prescription. A family member swears by prilosec otc which is over the counter,

have you tried that? I take prescription strength prilosec and it works great.

Anne,

What is different in your life style since you started working? Are you

eating spicey foods? Are you taking ibuprofen or another antiinflammatory

meds? My Hubby and I had this same talk last night about his job. Learned he

was

taking ibuprofen or aleve 2 times a day for the last 2 months. I told him

to wait about making a appointment for the doc until he eliminated that for a

few weeks and see if it cleared up on it's own. Baring anything else, Make an

appointment and see about a acid inhibitor or something of that nature. In

the meantime prilosec is OTC now and might help.

Just a few ideas.....
