It's SODA! ;-) I haven't done it myself as I don't like the texture of my

milk after freezing. ;-) I've had my goats milk still taste very good after

2-3 weeks!!! Hasn't had a chance to get any older then that when I've had

more milk then we're using/selling.

Try putting it in a blender for a few seconds, I'm tellin ya it makes all the difference in the texture of defrosted goat milk. Kim Re: Re: Freezing milk (Soda or Powder?) Just a question, would that be good for frozen raw milk too? Mine is on the way.... And what does the whipping and blending do to all the molecules and enzymes that will be gushed around in all that swirling???

Greetings and God Bless

I've only done it with frozen raw goat milk. If you are talking about cow milk, I don't know, try it and let us know. I don't think whirling it in a blender will do anything but mix the water part of the milk back in where it was before it turned to ice crystals and separated from the solids in the milk. Anyone else think any different? I mean homogenization is a whole difficult process where the molecules are forced together under pressure I don't think a house hold blender comes close to that kind of force. Anyway goat milk doesn't get the same cream line as cow milk, It is naturally homogenized. Re: Re: Freezing milk (Soda or Powder?)
