Sharon,

It is not uncommon when you quit smoking to really cough up a lot of crap, your lungs are trying to clean out. Congratulations. I stopped about 2 years ago now and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. It gets so much easier and you will get to a place where you a so happy to be done with that addiction. To be on the safe side you should give your doctor a call and tell them what is happening. Take care!!

Hi all1

Sorry I sent a blank page .I have another question.

I quit smoking a monthands a half ago, and I am coughing up black. I

also have a mettalic taste in my mouth w/ terrible back and chest pain.

Has anyone experienced this I am reallly scared.
