The epidemiological studies indicate that there is an association between red meat consumption and cancer. Would folks be able to comment on their understanding of what this means for people who eat the way that Supertrainers are likely to eat? In other words, is there a difference in the " red meat " of the " burgers crowd " and the " grass-fed bison with a nice spinach salad crowd " ? Are all " red meats " created equal in this context? Does " red meat " actually serve as an indicator of or proxy for an overall cruddy diet high in processed carbs etc.? As someone whose mother was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer at 50, I'm obviously mindful of this risk...
