Guest guest
I have been educating people to the best of my ability every sense I found out I had it. I don't fit the "typical" profile of someone they would think would have it. And probably got a few thinking about getting screened for it. Guest guest
What the general public thinks of as the "typical" profile of a hep c person is some one covered with tattoos and a iv drug user - no offense meant for any one its just the feed back i have personally gotten. (and yes I have 2 tattoos)
Guest guest
Hepatitis does not discriminate. I know what you mean by people thinking that is how you get it. But then how do we explain the many people that don't have any risk factors that come up positive, the babies ect; I have tattoos and I don't have Hep. My question wasn't an attack on you, I really just wondered what someone with Hep thinks is a typical profile. Sorry if I upset you T > What the general public thinks of as the " typical " profile of a hep c person > is some one covered with tattoos and a iv drug user - no offense meant for any > one its just the feed back i have personally gotten. Guest guest
I'm not experiencing that kind of feedback. Most people I discuss it with are either totally ignorant of the disease or know someone who has it. De Faith is the ability to not panic. -----Original Message-----From: sassy280z@...
