Whats Goldenseal used for?

Started using this...great results!! For anyone who uses it...How long can this be used?? Bottles say 10 days...How long do you continue using? We are on day 8!

It may be prudent to use for a few days and then stop. Rotate with

something else and then use again.

I use for about 2 weeks, then take a break (about 2 weeks) and start again. I

rotate w/saccromyces. And yes, for my 2 boys, it has been great, better than

any rx and we've tried them all!

Gayle, I don't know what others are using GoldenSeal for but it is has antibiotic properties and if you can find it in a high strength it can be used even against strep bacteria. It is also antifungal and can help with yeast. I use it to knock out a cold but mostly what you can buy at the hfs is very weak so I end up taking about 2 grams 3 times a day.

My healthfood store sells it in liquid form. It is very potent and works for us

for colds, yeast and bacteria.

We use the liquid form. I mix it in her drink or mix with a small amount of juice put in a syringe & squirt in her mouth. Hi ,

Regarding your post on the Valtrex regression, you had mentioned

giving goldenseal. My DAN! recommended this for my son but I have

not found a good way to give it, yet. Any ideas anyone? I've tried

it myself and it is horrible stuff.

we have had the same issue with yeast killer on diflucan causing backteria. We

have been doing artmesia 3 x daily for 3 weeks, seen massive die off reactions

and behaviours and stims I have not seen for 2.5 years. But feel the artmesia is

working so will continue a little longer. I am sure golden seal although not as

strong will also do the job. I give anti fungals away from anything else...
