Guest guest
Hi, I am a parent of a child with autism and I am doing research for my thesis in Communications Disorders. The topic is " Familial observations of the effects of mercury preserved immunizations on the child with autism " . The survey takes approximately five minutes to answer. All responses are strictly confidential and anonymous. This research has been approved by the Texas A & M Kingsville Institutional Review Board. If you wish to help out, please e-mail me at cbostx@... and I will e-mail the survey or mail it to you. Guest guest
Hi everybody, I would like to get your thoughts on a couple of things. What would attract you to volunteer for an organization? What is your concept of volunteerism? I'm looking into this as I am a volunteer and I'm interested in what sort of incentives/gratification a person looks for. Thank you ahead of time for your response.
Guest guest
I have been thinking about your questions since you asked. All I have come up with is that I don't know why I volunteer, I just do. One common thread in it is that I have to have an interest in what the organization does and also believe that there will be a positive result for the community it serves. The concept is just wanting to help other people attain a goal. There is usually some kind of a perk attached to volunteering....running from self satisfaction about doing a good thing for others to actual monetary rewards. Short and sweet answer to a complicated question. Dick At 09:32 AM 4/28/04, you wrote: Hi everybody, I would like to get your thoughts on a couple of things. Guest guest
I personally live in Cobb County and have 2 children in special ed. My daughter is more severe than my son, he will grow up and move out, my daughter will always live with us. For my daughter and the services she receives I give Cobb a 1 and for my son (who's only going into 1st) I'll give them a 4 for now.
