Sorry to hear that MArk is so sick. I am not sure if that is what had

when she was incubated or not. Whe was almost 4 and she had a bout with croup.

Her lips were blue, majorly gasping for air and had a tmep of 104. The Er dr

sent us home. Two hours later we were back and her airways closed up. Later on

I found out she hada type of bacterial type of croup. She spent over a week.

As the croup was improving the infedtion then went into her lungs. It was not a

pretty sight. She was put on vancomycin.

Like I said I am not sure this is same thing as Mark as but I do know that her

trachea was so swollen that it basically closed up. Which caused her to stop

breathing. At that point we knew was neutropenic and didn't know about the

PID.
