Guest guest
>Once the child has enough basic skills (can answer a yes/no question, can sit in circle time for 10 min, can greet a peer, can appropriate get a peer's attention, can greet an adult, has some basic motor and verbal imitation) THEN they can begin integrating into the schools in small teacher to student classes that are mixed so that the child in the spectrum has typical peer models.< Tristan doesn't so that is probably why she didn't say he should not have a TA, though she did say it shouldn't be the same person all the time as the child will be too dependant on them. Tristan goes into the typical classes in the afternoon with a TA. How about others on this list. How many of your children are in a typical classrooms with a TA?
