Guest guest Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 I'm wondering if those of you who have done silicone microdroplet injections could share your experience with me. I've had 4 sets of injections so far, at a cost of $900 per visit. I started with moderate to severe lipoatrophy. So far I'm a little disappointed. I do see improvement, but it's subtle. When I discussed this with the doctor, he says that it takes a while for the improvements to become apparent. The first 3 sessions form a base for the later sessions. After about the fifth or sixth session I should really see the improvement happening. Does this square with any of your experiences? I'm this far into it, so I've decided to go for at least 6 treatments, but the growing expense is beginning to make me crazy. The doctor told me some of his patients needed 10 sessions, but that was the exception. Feel free to respond in general or to me personally. Thanks, nysongburt@... Quote
