Guest guest
My heart rate was really high for a long time as well.Kinda weird first night i was given prednisone 60mgs in hospital heart rate shot up pretty severe 180,it calmed down fairly quik but was scary thing when nurses rush in with EKG machine & throw lights on in wee hours of mornin:).Its been normal for long time now,i still wonder though it musta been the initial shock of Prednisone to the body who knows Eh.It was fast even before but never like that,i could feel it racing big time.I also had Pericardis and the pressure on heart it can cause can also increase heart rate. d.Canada my heart rate is changing from 114 for hours then 72 for hours..have had echo's...my meds have not changed..will get another echo since I havent had one in about 3 or 4 years...anyone have this problem?? Guest guest
I noticed a change in my heart rate the year before this all really started. I used to work out 3-4 times a week, and prior to 2003 my heart rate would never go over 135 when running on the treadmill. The treadmill I ran on had a ring for your finger to monitor your heart rate. In 2003, it would go as high as 165, and I would also notice it trying to "jump out of my chest" at night. I thought little of it and have no clue if it is related. Even now it is almost always 85-90 bpm, which seems a bit high. Kirk my heart rate is changing from 114 for hours then 72 for hours..have had echo's...my meds have not changed..will get another echo since I havent had one in about 3 or 4 years...anyone have this problem??
