Guest guest
I bought a tracking device and aside from that fact that I didn't use it much ( not waterproof) it BROKE really fast. We put window alarms on all the doors, and try to keep a close watch on her. She did run away while we were at a VERY large resort and had made it all the way to other end of it before the staff found her. She seems to have stopped running for the most part after that. She did go and sit on some stairs at Epcot when we wouldn't leave to go back to the pool, but she answered us right away when we called for her too.I feel you pain..... I did write her name and addy in all her shoes, and now that ACC app, has her address and phone numbers in it as well as her medical history! Carol in ILMom to , 8 DSMy problem is not how I look. Guest guest
We went to Walmart and had dog tags make for each of my girls. Put info on it with their diagnosis, non verbal/sign language only, Down syndrome. Guest guest
I don't understand why as parents we couldn't do this? It could very well save a life. At least find a way to attach it to their body somehow and also be waterproof. Carol in ILMom to , 8 DS My problem is not how I look. Guest guest
I'm going to check with a friend of mine that has a business serving rest homes with some kind of device that keeps track of their patients....I haven't talked with him lately about exactly what it is that he sells. I'll report here if it is anything that might help our kids. I believe that the little devices that you put on a window or door that alarms when the contact is broken are fairly inexpensive....and should work fine. Hope you all have a nice day!!! Guest guest
Nice, but kids take their shoes off! Something that would stick with them no matter what, is what we need. Guest guest
Certain Governments are looking to RFID everyone eventually, actually. However there's one small problem, there is a risk from 1% to 10% tumor activity at the site of injection though. (http://www.spychips.com/) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rfid) In the meantime I think tags which go on/in the shoe, around the wrist, even temporary (or permanent) tattoos are a better option. best, liora in Beijing > > I'm thinking I would like to put a chip in , but don't think they > will do that to people. >
