Guest guest
Oh Suz, the menu at your house sounds divine! I hope you like the Russian Mix. It grows so lush and beautiful if I let it get big and green Lately I have been keeping my sprouts small and eating them with rice. Am planning to make wraps with sprouts and herbs and whatever else I am in the mood for. I have grown barley grass for juicing and in fact, have juiced the cats grass mix too not on purpose-I just mixed them up. All grasses look alike to me-so I devised a system of sticking a toothpick in the cat grass mix tray-that way, no mixups. :)n Dr. Rollings NJ Licensed Psychologist #4686 www.DrnRollings.com Sent from my iPad > > I harvested my French Garden sprouts for dinner. Dipping them in my garlic tinctures, one is white rice and the other is red wine. Divine. I have wheatgrass and brocoli sprouts to juice and we are jucing a canteloup. Some of my sprout seeds arrived. I started a tray of barley grass, gotta try it. Next I will start a tray of russian mix, n has me waiting on those in high anticipation. I also got Italian, Oriental and Mother's mix to try and enjoy. But I dare not start them all at once, even tho I really WANT to, hahaha > > Gonna try again to web post this and see if it shows up on my digest... > Suz, living the sprout life... > >
Guest guest
Oh, I have something to share with you all. I ordered my first items from Sproutpeople.com today. I got the French Garden and the Broccoli Can't wait to try this. And my new cooling system worked DIVINE. I just now took out all the cold keepers and I have 6 round green trays. Well, they were COOL and they were sprouting all over the place. I did the rinse and drain thing, and put them back with other cold keepers that I keep in the freezer. So I have two supplies of cold keepers which I alternate. This thing works GREAT. So I have all my mixtures of sprouts, bean sprouts and lentil sprouts, growing with Cold Keepers. Who says you can't grow sprouts in 88 degree temp?? lol Melody
Guest guest
Suz, Depending on how fast you eat your spouts. I start smaller batches of the mixes, every third night. Works out great for me. Plus, I have my pea and sunflower sprouts growing on my kitchen window sill all of the time, and hard beans, mung beans or lentils going in a colander. ew sprout life....
