Steve,

Happens to me all the time. It is like it just stops for a minute. It actually was happening a lot last night, and I kept taking my pulse to see how often it was happening. Planned on mentioning to my doc next time I see him.

STeve, I don't have Still's, but my daughter does. I get the heart thing, and mine is called PVC'S(pre-ventricular contraction). Stress, fatigue, or too much caffeine can bring it on. The cardiologist told my that if it didn't bother me, to just live with it, for the medication could be worse that the PVC's. (n, 15, systemic)

Heart

Hello all,

Has anybody had a funny feeling with their heart at bed time when you were lying in bed?

I was in bed last night and it felt like my heart missed a beat. It's very hard to explain the sensation but imagine blowing through a straw in a bottle of water - gas bubbles form. It felt a bit like some bubbles were being blown around my heart. It missed a beat because you can feel your pulse in your head when you have it pressed to the pillow.

It wasnt painful, but I was just wondering if anybody else has had something like this happen to them? It was a very peculiar feeling. The thing is, its not the first time its happened.

Sorry for the vague explanation.

Not really, thought it was probably med or stress related. I will let you know what my doc says.

I am no doctor. I just know what I have and what I have been told. If it is PVC's, I doubt that it would be Still's related.
