Guest guest
Ginger, In my opinion, none of this is your fault. If something is not right with your bloodwork, it's the doc's responsibility to inform you. However, you have every right to call and check on your tests and even question something you don't understand. Please realize that when you are dealing with a doctor, nurse, hospital, lab, etc., they are working for YOU. Sometimes docs don't think that way, but YOU hire them to help you. They are not doing you a favor, they are performing a service for which they are being paid! I have just been trying to encourage you to be very active in your own treatment. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand. If something doesn't make sense to you, tell them to explain it. And, as I said before, research anything you don't understand yourself. Don't hesitate to ask for copies of your records or results of your tests. Good luck. Hope you feel better soon. Gail Ginger Sunshine wrote: Thank you Gail. Now I don't know what to do. Was it my fault that I didn't call about the blood work my arthritis doctor took? __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Thank you Gail as I too thought that doctors were there to help you too. I went to pick up my pills yesterday and do you know there is 150 mg of iron in each one!!!! I just about fell over. Now way am i going to take these. The pharmisists(sp) even said they may make you sick. So I didn't buy them. I am not going to spend my money on something I cannot use. I need to now call my Oncologist and tell him that no way am I taking 150 mg of iron. I will hemmarage for sure and for a week if not more. Oh it also has B vitamin and folic acid in it. Guest guest
Sorry you are having such a time of it right now...I am also going through quite a bad flare. I sat in church tonight on the verge of tears the whole time. The pain in my hands and feet is horrible but the general feeling of just feeling bad is even worse. It has me very emotional right now. Anyway, I hope tomorrow is better day for ALL of us... Take Care! Rhonda
Guest guest
Yes Rhonda I know and the constant pain is something to be desired. Then the way I feel with a fever or after a fever is horrible too. It's enough to depress one. Hold on because that's all we can do. I just pray it doesn't damage anything else! I am with you, may tomorrow be a better day for us all. Hugs; Ginger rgcmagnolia wrote: Sorry you are having such a time of it right now...I am also going through quite a bad flare.
