Guest guest
Great info, Mick, but may I suggest NOT using tap water, which is loaded with chemicals. If you go to the trouble to use food grade peroxide (and you SHOULD), little point putting funky tap water in to the mix. (a recent yearly report from MY municipal water company showed 248 chemicals in the water-yukkkk) I suggest spring or distilled water. (bottled water labeled as " enhanced " or " purified " is nothing more than bottled water) Most health food stores carry food grade peroxide, usually kept in the refrigerated section-handle with care!) > > Soaking food, seeds or nuts in Hydrogen peroxide is very safe, in > fact its a wise thing to do. Guest guest
Thanks, Mick! Two more questions...if you're reducing the 35% hydrogen peroxide down to 3%, why not just use the 3% that is readily available? I also heard that citric acid was an alternative to hydrogen peroxide. Have you ever tried this? I will look up Dr. . I appreciate the tip! > > Soaking food, seeds or nuts in Hydrogen peroxide is very safe, in > fact its a wise thing to do.
