Guest guest
You sound miserable... but, you will be fine if you get a wee bit out. That is why I am so damned afraid to have any more put in at this point in time. I am not dropping the weight of daily, but it is coming off little bit by little bit. I am loathe to give up food altogether and send myself balmy in the process... or even worse, make my stomach so sore that I start to have band problems, reflux, constant p.b'ing etc etc. I am seeing many problems with erosion and reflux and between here and ozband, quite a few band replacements. It is just not worth it. I am feeling better and I am still sleeping well, eating bits a pieces, so I think I am just going to keep going the way I am. For example... this weekend I didn't eat lunches, I nibbled throughout the days, but didn't really sit down to meals. For breakfast I was able to have one rasher of bacon... it took forever to eat, but that was ok. Lunches didn't really happen unless I nibbled on a bit of Craig's or someone elses. Friday night dinner was a non event... nibbles and champagne - well, it was an event, but no real dinner. Saturday night was a feast... I didn't touch the gorgeous looking canapes... but had a few champagnes... then the feast started with a salad - and then it got interesting! The waiters then came around with platters of bits and pieces, 1 tempura prawn was placed on our plates, then a proscuito thing with a cheese filling... then a zucchini flower stuffed with polenta, then two other things that I cannot remember! The of course was a main of roast beef and veges - then dessert which was like a creme caramel. I successfully ate nearly all of it except the roast beef. I had two mouthfuls of that and decided that there was no point in pushing the limit... especially if I wanted desert! I could then fill you on last nights feast - yes, I was able to polish off another 3 courses - very small... but still could do it. I have just eaten a small peice of fish with fetta & spinach - unfortunately pan fried. I still can eat too much, I still unfortunately pb from time to time if it is eaten too quickly. I am slowly learning that if it takes more than twenty minutes to eat, I have eaten enough... and say thanks, but no thanks and have the plate removed. If people are rude enough to ask, I am rude enough to look at them with a blank look and raise my eyebrow - leave them thinking.
