What I learned from podcast 1.

There are two kinds of motivation " Away From " and " Towards " that can

help me create lasting change. " Away from " motivation is what I want

to stop or get away from. " Away from " motivation is ultra important

but by itself only gets me so far. It has to be coupled with Towards

motivation the motivation that pulls me forward. Away from motivation

gets me moving but towards keeps me going. So it's my job to figure

out what is my Away From motivation and Towards motivation.

Here are my Away From motivation

1. What unwanted behaviors do I have?

-eat uncontrollably -can't stop

-eat when not hungry-trouble waiting until hungry

-feel I have to exercise every day

-trouble stopping a level 5 full

-hide when I eat and eat in car

-eat too fast

2. What symptoms do I have?

-anxiety-feel like a cat on a hot tin roof

-overwhelmed

-terrified I will put my weight back on

-two wardrobes

-fatigue-

-not inspired

-pudgy tummy

-eat to fast to enjoy food

3. What are the consequences of those behaviors and symptoms?

-don't enjoy my grandchildren as much as I could.

-keep freaking out and melting

-avoid intimacy with dh

-will put all my weight back on

-people at work will talk about me

- going to look older than I am

4. What other people are affected by my problem?

-dh because I can't be fully present and am grumpy

-grandchildren
