Guest guest
Hi all, I'm relatively new to the group but have been listening to the IOWL podcasts for a few months. Love them!!! I'm learning to treat myself so much better and reducing/eliminating inner criticism. I haven't actually lost any weight - just staying the same. I'm already ahead of the game because it's such a relief to not feel bad/guilty, etc. But I do have 30+ pounds to lose.... My question is: I've read that the body seeks the same amount of calories to maintain stasis - it doesn't want to lose weight. So, should I track my calories to make sure that I'm staying within a range or is that just reverting to the old ways? I know that mentioned in a podcast that she started losing on a plan.... Thanks for the advice!
